Caring for Brown Leather Shoes

Begin by removing surface dust with a soft horsehair brush. If the leather is damp, let it dry naturally away from direct heat before applying any product.

Use a small amount of colour-matched cream and work it into the leather with a soft cloth. Give the cream time to settle, then brush to restore a quiet lustre. Wax can be reserved for the toe and heel when a brighter finish is wanted.

Do not over-condition. Leather benefits from light, regular attention rather than heavy applications. Store shoes with trees and keep them in a breathable dust bag.
