These Terms and Conditions govern access to the Ceylon Cobbler website and purchases made through theceyloncobbler.com for delivery within Sri Lanka. By using the website or submitting an order, you agree to these Terms together with the policies and order information presented at checkout.

The website is operated under the Ceylon Cobbler name. Questions about an order or these Terms may be submitted through the Contact page or sent to [email protected]. References to “we”, “us”, and “our” mean Ceylon Cobbler; “you” means the customer or website user.
Eligibility, accounts, and information
You must be legally capable of entering the transaction or act with the authority of a parent, guardian, company, or recipient. You must provide complete and accurate contact, delivery, billing, and order information and keep account credentials confidential. You are responsible for activity carried out through your account unless caused by our breach. We may verify information and restrict or suspend access where reasonably necessary for security, suspected misuse, or legal compliance.
Acceptable use
You may use the website only for lawful personal or authorised business shopping. You must not probe or bypass security, misuse access links, scrape at a disruptive scale, submit malicious material, impersonate another person, interfere with service availability, exploit pricing or promotion errors, or use the website or its content in a way that infringes rights or law. We may block or investigate activity that reasonably appears abusive or harmful.
Product information
We take reasonable care with product descriptions, sizes, materials, images, and availability. Screen settings, lighting, photography, natural leather characteristics, production batches, and hand-finishing can cause minor differences in colour, grain, texture, or placement that are not defects. Measurements and fit guidance are approximate and do not replace selecting an appropriate size. Product packaging may change without reducing the product’s essential quality.
Prices, promotions, and errors
Prices are displayed in Sri Lankan rupees. The authoritative item prices, discounts, delivery fee, tax adjustment if enabled, and total are shown for review before submission and recalculated by our server. Promotions may have eligibility, quantity, date, or usage limits and cannot be combined unless stated. We may correct an obvious typographical, pricing, discount, stock, or calculation error before dispatch. If an affected paid order cannot reasonably be honoured, we will cancel the affected item or order and refund the amount actually received.
Submitting and accepting an order
Placing an order is your offer to buy the selected goods at the reviewed total. An order number, access link, or automated acknowledgement confirms receipt but does not by itself require us to dispatch. Acceptance occurs when we confirm the order for fulfilment or dispatch it. Before acceptance, we may decline or cancel for unavailable stock, failed verification, suspected fraud or misuse, payment failure, delivery limitations, legal restrictions, or an obvious error. We will notify you and return any amount actually received for a cancelled item.
Payment
Only payment methods shown at checkout are available. For cash on delivery, you must arrange payment of the full amount due using an accepted method when the order is delivered; refusal or failure to pay may result in cancellation and reasonable restrictions on future COD orders. If PayHere is enabled, payment is handled on its hosted service and only a verified provider notification determines payment success—a browser return page is not proof of payment. We never ask you to send card security codes through email or support.
Delivery
We deliver only to supported addresses in Sri Lanka. The delivery fee and available method are shown before you submit the order. Delivery dates are good-faith estimates, not guarantees, and may be affected by couriers, weather, access, public events, incorrect details, or circumstances beyond reasonable control. You must provide a serviceable address and telephone number and arrange receipt. If delivery fails because information was inaccurate, access was unavailable, or the recipient did not accept a properly notified attempt, we may cancel or arrange redelivery and disclose any reasonable additional charge before it is incurred.
Inspection, title, and risk
Please inspect the parcel promptly and report a wrong item, shortage, transit damage, or apparent defect with the order number and reasonable supporting information. Risk of accidental loss passes on delivery to you or your authorised recipient. Ownership passes after we receive all amounts due. Nothing in this section limits remedies that cannot lawfully be limited.
Cancellation, exchanges, and refunds
Contact us as soon as possible if you wish to cancel; cancellation is not guaranteed after fulfilment or courier handover. An exchange request must be made within four days of purchase and is limited to one request per order. The product must be returned in its original state, unworn and undamaged, with its original packaging and included items. An eligible size-only exchange is free, including return and replacement delivery arranged with us. A different shoe design is subject to availability and approval; we will agree any delivery charges and applicable price difference with you before proceeding. If an incorrect, damaged or faulty product was supplied by us and the issue is confirmed, we will provide an appropriate remedy, which may be free redelivery or replacement, or a refund. Further eligibility and processing details appear in the Returns policy, and nothing in these Terms limits rights that cannot lawfully be limited.
Order access and communications
Transactional messages may be sent to the email address or telephone number supplied for the order. Guest order links are confidential bearer credentials: anyone with the link may be able to view the associated order, so you must keep it private. If contact details are wrong, support may require proportionate evidence before correcting them or reissuing access. Service, security, delivery, and order communications are not marketing and may be necessary to perform the transaction.
Intellectual property
The Ceylon Cobbler name, emblems, site design, text, product presentation, photographs, video, graphics, and software are owned by or licensed to us and protected by applicable law. You may view and use the website for shopping and personal reference. No other licence is granted; commercial reuse, reproduction, modification, or distribution requires prior written permission unless law expressly permits it.
Third-party services and availability
The website may rely on or link to independent payment, courier, email, analytics, advertising, hosting, and social services. Their own terms may apply to their services. We may maintain, update, suspend, withdraw, or change website functions where reasonably necessary, and we do not promise uninterrupted or error-free availability. We remain responsible for obligations that applicable law places on us.
Liability
Nothing in these Terms excludes fraud, wilful misconduct, death or personal injury caused by negligence, statutory consumer rights, or any liability that cannot lawfully be excluded. To the extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, or consequential loss, loss of opportunity or profit, or loss caused by your inaccurate information, misuse, unauthorised access, or an event beyond reasonable control. For claims connected with an order, our aggregate liability will not exceed the amount paid for that order, except where a higher remedy is required by law.
Governing law, disputes, and changes
These Terms and purchases through the website are governed by the laws of Sri Lanka. Please contact us first so we can attempt a practical resolution; you may also use any applicable Consumer Affairs Authority or other lawful redress process. Sri Lankan courts have jurisdiction, without preventing either party from using another mandatory forum. If a provision is invalid, the remainder continues. We may update these Terms prospectively; the version presented when an order is submitted governs that order unless a legal change must apply.
